My journey
Some people think it is odd, but living in a vehicle has felt natural to me and it makes me quietly happy as a professional photographer and current remote working nomad. I have stayed mostly on the East Coast but this upcoming year feels warm with possibility as I focus on sharing more of my world through simple photos of places, people and the quiet little scenes that make me pause as I reach West. About Calista
I am Calista, this soft and restless photographer in a van who is trying to keep an Etsy shop alive while life keeps throwing strange surprises at me. Being a full blown autistic millennial has made the simplest days feel wild, but my recent surgeries went well and I am finally steady enough to notice myself again.
What comes next is the part I never planned to talk about, the part where I loved something until it stopped loving me back and I had to drag myself out of the quiet mess it left behind. It is that soft and restless space where you lose your footing but somehow still feel the tiniest pull forward, almost like your future is tapping your shoulder.
I am not ready to tell the whole story yet, but I want you close because the next chapter already feels different. Traveling the nation, leaving the East Coast...its waiting for not just me, but us!
